Giba — Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Giba mobile app and website and any orders you place through them. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. About Giba
Giba is a platform for ordering custom-printed personalised gifts, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a business registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration No. [CR NUMBER] ("Giba", "we", "us"). You can reach us at [EMAIL] or [NUMBER].
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- You are responsible for keeping your account details and password secure, and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when you register and order.
3. Orders and personalisation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy a personalised product. The order is accepted when we confirm it and payment is received. Because items are made to order, you are responsible for the accuracy of the content you supply — photos, names, spelling and design choices. A design preview is shown before checkout for your approval.
4. Content you upload
You keep ownership of the photos, text and designs you upload. By uploading them, you grant Giba a limited licence to use, reproduce and print that content solely to produce and deliver your order. You confirm that you have the right to use the content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Prohibited content and use
You must not upload or order content that:
- Infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
- Is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, or promotes hatred or violence.
- Contains another person's image or personal data without their consent.
- Breaches the laws or public morals of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
We may refuse or cancel any order that breaches this section, and may report unlawful content to the authorities.
6. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in Bahraini Dinar (BD) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery fees are added at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed. Payment is taken at the time of order through our approved payment providers.
7. Returns, refunds and delivery
Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, and delivery by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Both form part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property of Giba
The Giba name, logo, branding, app design and content are owned by Giba and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Giba's total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Bahrain Consumer Protection Law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or upload prohibited content.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available in the app and on our website, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bahraini courts.
